Good Business

Day 2 of Seth Godin’s “Your Turn Challenge” – Tumblr

Bad business is easy.  Good business is hard.

Bad business is cowardly.  Good business is brave.

Bad business stalls on ideas.  Good business is fueled by them.

Bad business packs easy answers.  Good business asks impossible questions.

Bad business lacks leadership.  Good business encourages it.

Bad business looks at the bottom line (see: income statement).  Good business looks at the bottom line (see: how are we helping?).

Bad business drains.  Good business nourishes.

Bad business talks itself out of it.  Good business ships.

Good business is important to me, primarily because I’ve already built a bad one.  In 2015, it’s my turn to build a good one.
